Daimi Temsilciliğimizden alınan elektronik posta mesajına atfen, BM’nin Satın Alma Birimi tarafından
yayımlanan bir seminer duyurusu hakkında bilgi verilmektedir. Söz konusu duyuru kapsamında; BM
Sekreteryasına bağlı olarak faaliyet gösteren Satın Alma Birimi’nin BM Barışgücü misyonunun
bulunduğu ülkelerde ve bölgelerde yapılacak başta gıda ve su olmak üzere mal ve hizmet (catering,
depolama vb) satın alımına yönelik olarak yerel firmalara bilgi vermek üzere seminer düzenleneceği ifade
edilmekte olup, BM’nin bu kapsamdaki satın alımının yıllık yaklaşık 300 milyon ABD Doları seviyesinde

The Procurement Division of the Office of Supply Chain Management of the United Nations Secretariat
presents its compliments to the Permanent Missions.
The Procurement Division is increasing supplier outreach activities with the aim to broaden its suppliers’
basis for the provision of food rations to peacekeeping operations. The provision of food rations to
peacekeeping operations represents a yearly spend of approximately US$300 million. The Procurement
Division seeks companies capable to provide end-to-end turn-key services including the sourcing and
shipping of 524 food line items, warehouse construction/rental and related warehousing services,
outbound distribution to delivery points within the mission area, catering services and Post-exchange

The Procurement Division and the Logistics Division of the Office of Supply Chain Management are
planning to conduct a business seminar on 07 March 2024 dedicated to companies interested in providing
end-to-end turn-key food rations services to the United Nations peace-keeping operations. The objective
of the business seminar is to increase companies’ awareness of the business opportunities in the field of
food rations and to provide guidance on how to approach a request for proposal and vendor registration.
It will be a hybrid business seminar, both in-person in New York and on-line.
